In 2019 law students from the Pacific shared a vision: to take climate change to the world’s highest court. After battling political challenges for six years, they made history in The Hague. The Trillion Dollar Case follows this young generation from the South Pacific to the International Court of Justice, where they revolutionised international law. It is a gripping account of the courage it takes to dare the impossible in order to protect our future.

As a father Alimamy really wants the best future he can provide for his children. Making his living as a farmer in a small village community in the rural north of Sierra Leone is already quite demanding. His plan however is to help his kids to get an education. Despite his limited resources he embarks on an adventurous journey to bear the burden of development for a future generation.
Three children fled with their families from crisis regions. They found a new home in Germany. What wishes and dreams do they have for the future? Through animated children’s drawings we dive into their world. It’s their view on integration in Germany’s school system.
With this film Rosemarie Wahler gives us an insight into the most difficult time of her life. Singing in the choir Viva Voce Stuttgart e. V. helped her to deal with it.
